Meet Our Massage Therapists

  • Phillip Malone

Phillip Malone, LMT has been practicing massage since 2012.

He specializes in a Structural Integration approach. This method looks at the body as a system that is constantly adapting as it moves through the world, and seeks to provide a targeted support to the body's adaptive potential. Each session with Phillip is based on his in-depth understanding of anatomy and intuitive sense for movement, and often has an improvisational quality that builds as a session progresses.

My introduction to professional therapeutic massage occurred at 19 years old and instantly had a profound positive impact upon me.

Following that 90 minute session I was feeling more comfortable and at peace in my body than I could recall ever feeling.

Being a healthy 19 year old guy I wasn't really aware of any body discomfort on a regular basis and it really was surprising to me how much better I felt.

I made a point of finding out where my massage therapist had learned how to do the work that was done to me with the thought that I may want to help other folks to experience the same comfort and peace.

That was all back in the year 2000. Some time passed; some life happened, finally in 2013 I attained my own NH certification to be a massage therapist at the Institute for Therapeutic Arts School of Massage Therapy in Hudson New Hampshire.

Since then I've worked with hundreds of clients, have thousands of hours of experience and I continue to study massage technique with other bodyworkers at the top of their respective fields.

For 18 years I worked in the field of robotics where a discipline in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems now lends itself very well to my clinical massage therapy style, only now I'm working with the complex human body.

In addition to receiving very regular therapeutic massage myself; I've studied or experienced multiple healing methods to satisfy my own curiosities including Massage Cupping, Chiropractic, Kinesio Taping, Thai Massage, Essential Oils, Medicinal Herbs, Reiki, EFT Tapping, Crystal Bowl Sound Baths, Tuning Fork Sound Therapy and Sacred Sound Healing Circles.

Their bodies may be experiencing pain with movement.  They may wake up in pain or go to bed in pain.

They may not have full range of motion in one or multiple joints.

There may be a task they regularly have difficulty physically doing or recovering from.

They will have something specific that does not allow them to be as active or as effective in their goals as they'd wish.

My ideal client is a goal oriented, physically active and optimistic person.  They'll commit to trying new things and making changes.  They will spend time on self care and self improvement.

Extending your current career, reducing or removing joint/body pain, sleeping better, stopping chronic headaches, or finally being able to do reps with that 75 pound dumbbell!

My goal is always to find the length of time-per-session and frequency-of-visits which will allow for achieving a client's goals while still accommodating their time, finances and any current physical limitations.

What goals can I help you with?
